“Futsal” Chest Kick

”Flat” Kicks in Futsal

The “Flat” kick in futsal is a kick that unites strength and precision.

The “Flat” kick is a mixture of the placed kick and the instep kick. It is done by hitting the ball with the midpoint between the “instep” and the inside of the foot.

The Plain Kick unites the precision of the “placed” kick with the power of the “instep” kick.

Futsal “Clearance” Kick

The “Clearence” Shot in Futsal is a resource used in situations where the player does not have space to adjust his body for another type of shot.

The “Clearance” Kick is a very powerful kick, but with very little precision.

The “Clearance” kick is done by hitting the ball with the “clearance” of the boot or the tips of the fingers.

”Panenka” Kick in Futsal

The “Panenka” kick is a technical feature used to cover up the opponent’s goalkeeper, that is, to make the ball pass over the goalkeeper, usually when he is advanced, outside the goal.

The “Panenka” kick is done with the toe of the boot, using the region of the big toe. The technique consists of hitting the ball while dragging the front part of the sole of the foot on the court floor, as if you were trying to dig a hole in the ground with the boot.

The “Panenka” kick is a slow, low power kick, which aims to get the ball over the goalkeeper and into the goal.

Futsal “Volley” Kick

The Futsal Volley Kick is a kick made with the ball in the air, at half height, and hitting the ball with the “instep” (top of the foot).

The Volley Kick can be a very powerful kick, but it requires a very refined technique for correct execution.

”Lethal” Kicks in Futsal

The “Lethal” kick in Futsal is a technique that consists in kicking the ball by crossing the kicking leg behind the supporting leg.

The Chute de Letra is a technical feature used in very specific situations, when the striker wants to surprise the defense and the goalkeeper with a shot outside the standard range of shots. The Chute de Letra is also used to embellish a move.

Futsal “Heel” Kick

The Heel Kick, as the name implies, is done by hitting the ball with the heel, i.e., it is a kick done with the opponent’s back to the goal.

The heel kick can be used when the striker wants to surprise the opposing defense and goalkeeper, or to embellish a move.

”Bicycle” Kick in Futsal

The “Bicycle” Kick is a highly technical move that few players are capable of performing.

It is a kick made with the opponent’s back to the goal, with the ball high (above head height), performing a backward jump, hitting the ball with the “instep” and falling backwards to the ground.

The name “bicycle” is due to the fact that, during the movement, the player gives a kind of “pedal stroke” in the air.

What is the Ideal Shot in Futsal?

The ideal kick in futsal is the kick that unites “precision” and “strength. Thus, the “Flat” Kick is the one that manages to unite precision and strength in futsal.
