Size of the Penalty Area in Futsal
The Futsal Penalty Area is 6 meters away from each goal line, and on the outside, a semicircle is drawn perpendicular to the goal line that extends to the inside of the court with a radius of 06 (six) meters.
The upper part of this semicircle is a straight line of 3.16 meters, parallel to the goal line between the posts. The surface within this semicircle is called the penalty area.
Penalty Area Line
A curved line that marks the outer limit of the penalty area is called the penalty area line and is part of the area.
Penalty Mark
In each area the penalty point or penalty mark is marked 6 meters away from the midpoint of the goal line between the two posts is marked a circle with a radius of 6 centimeters.
Goalkeeper’s Limit Mark
Another line will be marked inside the penalty area, 5 meters from the 10-meter mark, to indicate the distance the goalkeepers must observe when attempting to defend a direct free kick from the sixth accumulated foul onwards.
The size of this mark is 8 centimeters wide and 40 centimeters long.
