HOW LONG IS A FUTSAL MATCH?
On Futsal, the clock stops whenever the ball goes out of play, or there is a break in play. The clock only starts again when play resumes. For both men and women, the game is divided in two halftimes.
HOW LONG IS A FUTSAL MATCH, ACCORDING TO THE AGE?
A Futsal match is played stopping the clock whenever the ball goes out of play and divided into two halftimes. According to age, the duration is set in this way:
- For adult matches, under-20 and under-17 – two halftimes of 20 minutes, and the halftime break of 15 minutes;
- For matches under-15 – two halftimes of 15 minutes, and the halftime break of 15 minutes;
- For matches under-09 and under-07 – two halftimes of 13 minutes, and the halftime break of 15 minutes.
FUTSAL OVERTIME
When described in the competition regulations, an overtime is played. There will be 02 halftimes, of 5 minutes each or according to what the regulation stipulates.
After the end of the game, five minutes break will be taken before starting the overtime. Between the 1st and 2nd half of overtime, there will be no break.
FUTSAL TECHNICAL TIME-OUT
The teams are entitled to a one-minute time-out in each period.
FUTSAL TIMEKEEPER
The responsibilities of the timekeeper are:
- Control the total time of the match;
- Start the clock when the ball is in play;
- Stop the clock when the ball is out of play;
- Control 1minute break for technical time-out;
- Control the sending off 2 minutes sanction;
- Notify the 1st referee when the halftimes are over.
