PIVOT CHARACTERISTICS IN FUTSAL
The main Pivot characteristics in Futsal are:
- Physical Strength and good use of the body – in order to protect the ball and spin;
- Ball control and possession – in order to keep the ball during the attack;
- Good passing skills and ability to shoot with both feet – in order to assist well and shoot at the opponent’s goal.
- Good positioning and ability to read the game – it’s no use having good technique without being able to position him or herself and move well on the pitch.

The main tasks linked to the role of the Pivot in Futsal are:
- Receiving the ball in the attacking zone;
- Assisting approaching fellow players;
- Using the body and the spinning technique to shoot at the goal;
