FOR HOW MANY PLAYERS A FUTSAL TEAM IS FORMED: RULE 03
Each Futsal Team is composed of a maximum of 05 (five) players, one of whom will be the goalkeeper.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS IN A FUTSAL TEAM?
A Futsal team must have at least 3 players on the court to start a match or continue in a match. If a team has less than 3 players during the match, the match will be ended.
THE FUTSAL TEAM CAPTAIN
Every Futsal team must have a Captain, who will have the following responsibilities on the court:

Represent your team and be responsible for their good conduct before, during and after the Futsal game;

Before the match, provide the names and numbers of the players of your team and coaching staff;

When necessary, respectfully talk with the referees, seeking information;

Wear an armband on one arm and choose another captain if disqualified or have a serious injury.
Note: It is not necessary for the Captain to be a starting player of the team, and may not be on the court for the start of the game.
HOW MANY SUBSTITUTION PLAYERS ARE IN A FUTSAL GAME?
OFFICIAL COMPETITIONS
In official Futsal competitions, the maximum number of substitution players is 9. The regulation of each competition can determine the number of substitution players for a team up to a maximum of 9 players.
Note: In Futsal, there is NO limit on substitutions during the match.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS FUTSAL MATCHES

In “A” national team matches, a maximum of 10 (ten) substitution players may be used.

A larger number of substitution players may be used in the following situations:

Teams reach an agreement on the maximum number of substitution players;

Be informed to the referees before the start of the match.
FUTSAL STAFF
Beyond the substitution players, outside of the field in a Futsal game, the staff is composed by:

06 members of the Technical Staff, duly defined, being: 01 (one) Head of Team or Supervisor, 01(one) Coach, 01(one) Coach Assistant, 01(one) Physical Trainer, 01(one) Doctor 01, (one)Physiotherapist.
