POSITIONING ON VOLLEYBALL 4×2 SYSTEM WITH BACK-ROW SETTER

In a 4×2 system, 2 or 3 players will be in charge of the reception of the opponent’s service.

If receiving with only 2 players, this function will be made by both players (not the setter) standing in the back-row.

If the team will receive 3 players, one of the outside hitters from front zone will compose the reception along with the two back-row players (not the setter).

Note that the back-row setter will not attend to compose the reception, only infiltrate to set (second contact).
