WHAT IS THE VOLLEYBALL 6×0 TACTICAL SYSTEM?
The Volleyball 6×0 Tactical System is used in volleyball initiation, especially for children up to 12 years old or for people who have never had contact with volleyball.
FEATURES OS THE 6×0 SYSTEM
- There are no players specialized in a role;
- All players are receivers, setters, and spikers;
- Normally, the player occupying position 3 (middle front) will be the setter;
- The other 5 players will be in charge of reception and attack.
POSITIONING IN A 6×0 SYSTEM
In a 6×0 system, the team will have 5 players composing the reception and then the attack and one player at a time will be the setter.
TEAM MOVEMENTS IN A 6×0 SYSTEM
Being a system used in volleyball initiation, this system has no infiltrations or complex movements as in the 5×1 system or the 4×2 system.
A Volleyball team that plays in the 6×0 system basically respects the rotation positions, and one player as the setter, another 5 players will be in charge of reception and attack.
Once this system is focused on every player being able to perform every role, and in this way developing all the fundamentals, the use of the libero is not common, although it is allowed.
